The Inchcolm by Ovolo finds and ideal balance between architectural heritage and distinct design features. Drawing inspirations from the building’s rich 1920’s history, The Inchcolm by Ovolo effortlessly blends vintage character with a concept known as ‘the Cabinet of Curiosity’ – an eccentric design scheme curated by stylist Anna Roberts, where themed interiors in the 50 boutique rooms sit comfortably alongside odd books, artefacts and objects.

 

CONFERENCE & EVENTS

Charleston Room
Named after the dance, The Charleston rhythm was popularized in mainstream dance music in the United States by a 1923 tune called “The Charleston”, which became one of the most popular hits of the decade.

The Charleston Room is a multi- use space which can be divided into three smaller spaces, the pillarless room with tall heritage style windows filters the daytime natural light and accesses the evenings city lights. It can accommodate up to 120 guests theatre style and is available in a range of configurations. Whatever type of gathering, your guests will appreciate the large open space with no pillars to impede views or layouts.

 

The Foxtrot Room
The Foxtrot Room at The Inchcolm is an intimate room designed for smaller gatherings. The room is ideal for executive board meetings and private dinners and can seat 10 people.

 

The Parlour
The Parlour was the original sitting room of the private home of Dr. John Thomson, playing on the idea of mixing home with artistic hospitality venue, The Parlour was inspired by Art Deco Style, the Années Folle with herringbone oak floors, floor to ceiling windows and Granite fireplace it is the perfect private dining venue to impress your guests.

Beyond your event itself, The Inchcolm by Ovolo boasts 50 superbly appointed guests rooms, if you have guests coming from overseas, interstate or just out-of-town, finding somewhere to stay couldn’t be any easier. And you’ll receive reduced rates with the preferential Ovolo treatment from the moment the booking is made, not to mention a fantastic place to stay just a short stroll from the heart of Brisbane.

We even give clients the opportunity to book the entire boutique hotel, with every space inside, including all 50 rooms, exclusively, which is perfect for Weddings or large events with guests from all around.
