Crystal Palace & Courtyard, located in Carlton North, is a thoughtfully renovated Melbourne historic gem.

Built in 1898 for the ‘Bennett and Willcock’ butchers, this elegant building is a classic example of Victorian era architecture and offers the perfect platform to host your wedding, engagement, commitment ceremony or special event.

The atmosphere is relaxed and open, the spacious building offers plant filled indoor and outdoor spaces, which flow from one to another.

The opulent interior hosts a floor to ceiling velvet draped wall, redolent of a Parisian salon. The décor is sophisticated, featuring carefully selected contemporary artworks, objet d'art, soft furnishings and a checkerboard dance floor.

Their outdoor garden spaces are mostly undercover and can be heated or cooled. They have an array of types of tables and chairs that can be rearranged or changed according to your needs.

Licensed for up to 100 guests, Crystal Palace have the space and atmosphere to provide a laid-back, yet memorable experience for your special event.

Their excellent sound system runs throughout the venue and you are able to connect your own device to it if you wish.

Crystal Palace & Courtyard is not designed for formal sit-down dining but rather for grazing tables, canapés or buffet style meals. You can arrange your own catering and have full access to their well-equipped kitchen.

Their bar offers an uncomplicated yet excellent wine list, a good selection of beers and signature cocktails that are delicious and beautiful.

You can hire The Palace as a whole venue, with a minimum bar spend attached.
