Prahran Mission and Whitehouse Institute of Design are collaborating to host their annual fashion fundraising event, this year entitled A [WEAR].
Coordinated by third year styling students of Whitehouse Institute of Design, A [WEAR] will be hosted at the Whitehouse Institute of Design, Melbourne on June 6th 2012.
A [WEAR] is a stimulating multi-facet event bringing the boldness and uniqueness of Melbourne fashion and entertainment to create an unforgettable night. Showcasing the diverse work of Melbourne creative’s including Neo Dia, Gorman, Alpha60, Kate Rohde, Alexandra Blak, Beespoke Agency, and Kit Webster, the event will be an exciting mash up
of garage grunge, rebellious punk with an urban edge.
A [WEAR] supports Prahran Mission, which is recognised for their quality of support and responsiveness to community needs. The Mission provides emergency relief services to those experiencing poverty, homelessness and economic disadvantage, as well as rehabilitation services to those experiencing mental illness and psychiatric disability.
All monetary proceeds from A [WEAR] Fashion Event will go to Prahran Mission to support their great work.
Last years event, ‘Mission 65’, was a huge success, attracting over 300 guests, including industry delegates and celebrities, and raised over $7,000 for Prahran Mission. This year A [WEAR] Fashion Event will be even bigger and better, with more designers, more entertainment, more sponsors and more guests.
