Calling everyone with a sweet-tooth!
Quite literally, a giant pop-up lolly shop has opened in Fitzroy. Sugar Republic is a refurbed warehouse that’s been transformed into a playground for adults. Hop, skip and jump throughout while nibbling on sweet, sweet candy and confectionary alike.
Take your pick of swimming through a giant ball pit, jumping out of a massive birthday cake or even swinging in a room lined with fairy floss.
If that isn’t a sweet enough deal for you, then you can climb into a life-size gum ball machine, cross a sherbet-filled rainbow bridge and pretend you’re a vendor in a makeshift lolly shop.
As you make your way through the maze of fun activities and interactive art displays, you can expect treats like lamingtons, Wizz Fizz, fairy floss, Halo Top ice-cream and more to keep your sugar levels high and your body abuzz.
Sugar Republic has been designed to be a place where you can not only run amuck but take a whole lot of pics while you’re doing so. Each art installation and display is the perfect pastel coloured background you need for your next Insta photo or FB profile pic #influencer.
With sweet, candy-orientated tunes playing throughout, this pop-up is the perfect way to spend an afternoon regardless of whether you’re 3 or 30 years old. But hurry, Sugar Republic is only open until the 17th of August 2018 with most sessions selling out on the day!
