Kittyhawk is a high volume cocktail bar focused on great cocktails and exceptional experiences. The venue is designed around the Liberation of Paris in 1944 and brings together an old world charm with modern and delicious food and beverage offerings.

Kittyhawk is centrally located in Sydney’s CBD, and is walking distance to public transport and taxi ranks and other popular Sydney destinations if you want to make a night of it. They cater to people from all walks of life and strive to make everyone feel welcome.

Kittyhawk has a number of function spaces available for hire seven days a week with spaces to suit groups of 1 to 175 (350 across both levels).

 

Whole Venue

For those with grand plans, you can book Kittyhawk and The Officers’ Mess combined. Moving between levels is easy as you’ll have access to both the fire stairs and your own private lift. This option is best suited for events with multiple themes where people can flow between levels and you don’t need everyone in the space all at once for speeches or presentations, etc. It’s totally up to you what you make of it – just know that it’s allllll yours.

 

Kittyhawk

Having this space to yourself is the ultimate treat. Totally private and exquisitely themed, you’ll have access to Kittyhawk’s 12m Main Bar area as well as the Conservatory and the Lounge, which features deep green banquettes, perfect for cosying up in and relaxing. You’ll just need to decide whether you want to stand and mingle or sit and feast and your work here is pretty much done. You can play your own music and select your own menu and the space will belong exclusively to you and your guests.

 

The Officers' Mess

For those who enjoy their privacy, this is a totally exclusive level with floor to ceiling bifold balcony windows right by the dancefloor and access via your own private lift. You’ll have your own bathrooms, your own bar and wait staff and you’re welcome to organise entertainment, be it a band, a DJ or simply your favourite Spotify playlist. Hit the passionate Kittyhawk team up if you’d like some suggestions. If you just want background music you don’t need to think about, you also have access to the music playing downstairs in Kittyhawk Main Bar. The room’s versatility means groups of all sizes can be accommodated, from cocktail parties to private dinners or lunches.

 

The Conservatory

A truly beautiful space that really doesn’t need much decoration. In this semi-private spot within Kittyhawk Main Bar, you can soak up all the sun’s rays and, if it’s a glorious day, they can open the windows so you feel the breeze. For speedy service, you will be assigned a section of the bar although tray service can be organised with enough notice (fees apply). The low tables can also be replaced with cocktail tables to make it easier to stand and mingle. Depending on your group size, your guests can casually congregate through Kittyhawk main bar, sitting at the existing high tables and bar stools with the Conservatory’s deep green banquettes always available if guests prefer to recline by the windows. Seated set ups are only possible on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, when The Officers’ Mess and Lounge are already booked. No AV or minors permitted in this space, unless Kittyhawk is booked exclusively.
